In recent years Gyranda has purchased a significant number of select poll bulls. This is to give clients another option.

We select our Santa Gertrudis sires primarily for structural soundness, fertility, growth rate and temperament. Selection is achieved through a combination of visual appraisal and other objective information available to us, eg Breedplan's Estimated Breeding Values. (EBVs)
